Article 8, Powers of the Board of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.

The following are powers of the Board of the Public Prosecutor’s Office:

a) Advising the National Prosecutor in the leadership of the body, ensuring the fulfilment of its purposes.

b) Permanently assessing and rating employees’ performance of Public Prosecutor’s Office

c) Exercising the disciplinary power in regard to officials of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, in accordance with the law.

d) Appointing the National Executive Director.

e) Recommending to the National Prosecutor the shortlists of three candidates for the appointment of assistant prosecutors.

f) Others powers established by the Constitution and the law.
