A law shall determine the organisation and responsibilities of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, shall establish the capacities that district attorneys shall boast, and the requisites they shall meet for them to be appointed, as well as the causes for their removal. District attorneys shall cease in their post when turning 70 years old.
Orders and instructions issued to district attorneys by the highest authorities of the institution and which could affect an investigation or the exercise of the criminal prosecution action, shall always be founded.
District attorneys and officials [of the organisation] shall have a promotion and career system that enables fostering technical excellence and expertise gained in the duties performed.
