A committee shall set the remunerations for authorities elected by popular vote, as well as for those being of the latter’s exclusive trust. Remunerations shall be set every four years, at least 18 months in advance from the end of a presidential term. The committee’s agreements shall be public, based on technical background information, and shall guarantee a suitable retribution for the responsibilities of the post.
A law shall establish the integration, operation, and powers of this committee.
