Autonomous regions, autonomous boroughs, and native territorial autonomies shall all be vested the political, administrative, and financial autonomy for the achievement of their purposes and interests in the terms set forth herein and in the law.
Under no circumstance shall the exercise of the autonomy attempt against the nature of the Chilean State as a single and indivisible unit, and neither shall it allow for territorial secession.
