Article 2, State Duties

The State acknowledges and fosters the development of the various knowledge-based systems in the country, considering their distinct cultural, social, and territorial contexts.

It also fosters their equitable and open access, which comprises the exchange and communication of knowledge to society in the vastest possible manner, with full observance of the rights set forth in this Constitution.

The State shall foster, throughout its stages, a comprehensive educational system that promotes, in an interdisciplinary manner, critical thinking and skills based on the creative ability of humankind through the various areas of knowledge.
