The posts of deputy and of regional representative are incompatible among each other and with other posts of representation, as well as with any and all jobs, duties, commissions, or posts of a public or private nature.
They are also incompatible with the roles of directors or counsellors, even if ad honorem, for autonomous fiscal entities, semi-fiscal entities, and State-owned companies or those in which the State owns a stake through capital contribution.
Merely by the act of being proclaimed by the Election Certification Tribunal, a Deputy or regional representative shall cease in the other post, job, duty, or commission that is incompatible and which he/she is performing up until that moment.
